Liebe Wagyuzüchter / Dear Wagyu breeders,
ein Wochenende voller Ereignisse liegt hinter uns – die Wagyu Gala Auktion in Münster war ein toller Erfolg, niemals zuvor wurden so viele Angebote in einer Wagyu Auktion in Europa verkauft. Auktionator Andreas Aebi sowie Pedigreeleser Marisa Marquardt, Christoph Willeke und Hubertus Diers hatten alle Hände voll zu tun.
Am Ende wurden 35 weibliche Zuchttiere zum Durchschnittspreis von 6.015 EUR verkauft, die stattliche Zahl von 127 Embryonen kostete im Schnitt 645 EUR pro Embryo, mit 5 Paketen zu einem Preis von über 1.000 EUR pro Embryo. Sämtliche angebotenen Spermaportionen fanden einen Abnehmer mit Mayura L10 für 2.100 EUR pro Portion an der Spitze.
Käufer in der Auktion kamen aus 9 verschiedenen Ländern, DE ÖST CH NL LUX BEL DK POR BUL.
2 Tiere erreichten einen Preis von über 20.000 EUR. Gast der Auktion Scott de Bruin von Mayura Station in Australien offerierte eine Itoshigenami JNR Tochter, die nach hartem Bieterduell für 25000 EUR verkauft wurde, gefolgt von der Notorious-Tochter Top Wagyu S60371, die für 23.500 EUR nach Hessen zugeschlagen wurde.

Bereits der Vortag, der Samstag, bot ein großartiges Programm. Nachmittags wurden die Auktionstiere von den Preisrichtern Scott de Bruin und Dr. Christian Niewöhner rangiert. Champion der Senior Kategorien wurde die Nr 21, eine Mr Fuji Tochter von Georg Stiens aus Kaufungen und Champion der Junior Kategorien die Nr 18, eine Peppermill Grove Tochter von Wagyu DE aus Altenberge.
Am Abend spielte die Band Mavericks mit ihrer Country Blues und Rock Show auf und es gab eine Charity Auktion. Der Erlös ging an die gerade im Bau befindliche Palliativ Station des Herz-Jesu Krankenhauses in Münster-Hiltrup. Den höchsten Preis brachte ein vom Zuchtbetrieb Tönjes gestifteter L10 Embryo mit 3000 EUR.

A weekend of great action is behind of us – the Wagyu Gala Auction in Münster was a fine success, never before have so many lots been sold in a Wagyu Sale in Europe. Auctioneer Andreas Aebi as well as pedigree readers Marisa Marquardt, Christoph Willeke and Hubertus Diers were really kept busy with the sale.
In the end 35 female breeding animals had been sold for an average price of 6.015 EUR, the large number of 127 embryos brought 645 EUR per embryo in average, with 5 embryo lots selling for over 1.000 EUR per embryo. All semen lots that were offered were sold, with Mayura L10 for 2.100 EUR per straw at the top.
Buyers in the sale came from 9 different countries, DE ÖST CH NL LUX BEL DK POR BUL.
2 animals reached a price of over 20.000 EUR. Special guest of the sale Scott de Bruin from Mayura Station in Australia offered an Itoshigenami JNR daughter that was sold after a hard bidding competition for 25000 EUR, closely followed by the Notorious daughter Top Wagyu S60371 which was sold for 23.500 EUR to a breeder in Hessen.

Also the day before, the Saturday, had a great program. In the afternoon the sale animals were judged by judges Scott de Bruin and Dr. Christian Niewöhner. Champion of the Senior Categories was Lot 21, a Mr Fuji daughter from the herd of Georg Stiens, Kaufungen, and Champion of the Junior Categories Lot 18, a Peppermill Grove daughter from Wagyu DE, Altenberge.
In the evening the band Mavericks played their Country Blues and Rock Show and there was a Charity Auction with 3000 EUR for an L10 embryo as the highest price.
